Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:
This position will be responsible to design, implement, and oversee the electrical systems of solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the electrical components of the solar power plant meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor site construction activities as per project plan.
- Coordinate with EPC Contractors for smooth site execution.
- Inspect and certify material receipts at the site.
- Oversee construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar plant.
- Verify and certify EPC contractor bills based on site progress.
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards, quality, and HSE guidelines.
- Review project planning, scheduling, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site meetings to monitor progress and submit reports to HO.
- Liaise with government/local authorities as required.
- Ensure work aligns with Quality Control and Safety Plans.
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure technical specifications are met.
- Ensure electrical works meet drawings and schedule.
- Verify quality of electrical equipment (PV modules, inverters, transformers, etc.).
- Ensure compliance of solar panels, inverters, and system equipment with specifications and testing reports.
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Skills/Job Specification:
- Proven experience of 2+ years of within the solar or renewable energy industry
- Strong knowledge of solar technologies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
