Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for planning, designing, and ensuring the successful execution of solar power plant infrastructure, including site grading, foundations, and structural components.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor site construction activities per the project plan.
  • Coordinate with EPC Contractors for smooth site execution.
  • Conduct joint material inspections and certify receipts.
  • Monitor solar power plant facility construction and progress.
  • Verify and certify EPC Contractor running bills.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and HSE guidelines.
  • Review project planning, scheduling, and progress reports.
  • Conduct regular meetings with EPC Contractors to monitor progress.
  • Liaise with government/local authorities as required.
  • Ensure execution as per Quality Control and Safety Plans.
  • Supervise site work and progress reporting to HO.
  • Coordinate with engineers to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Verify civil works, ensuring adherence to drawings and schedule.
  • Inspect and certify testing methods for construction materials.

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

 

Skills/Job Specification:

  • Proven experience of at least 3-5 years, with at least 2 years in executing ground-mounted solar projects (MW scale)
  • 2+ years of experience within the solar or renewable energy industry
  • Strong knowledge of solar technologies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
