Namlan Khola Hydroelectric Project
The Namlan Khola Hydroelectric Project (NKHEP) promoted by Apollo Energy Pvt. Ltd., is a proposed peaking run-of-river hydropower project situated along the Namlan Khola in the Mugu district of Karnali Province, Western Nepal. With a maximum capacity of 135 MW, located within the Karnali Province, the Namlan Khola Hydropower Project has its headworks positioned at Kamaithan, while the powerhouse is strategically situated at Tyarbagar of the Mugum Karmarong Rural Municipality. The nearest town to the project site is Gamgadi in the Mugu district.
This hydroelectric project holds a substantial installed capacity of 135.0 MW, showcasing its commitment to providing a reliable and sustainable source of energy for the region.
