POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of farm management. This includes the development and execution of an annual cultivation calendar that outlines detailed plans for crop cultivation, scheduling, harvesting, and yield forecasting. The PMO will play a central role in aligning farm operations with organizational goals through data-driven reporting and coordination with various departments, including the farm team and the sales and marketing division.

 KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible to develop a complete annual cultivation calendar of farm including cultivation plan, schedule, and harvest plan.
  • Farm reporting (AOP Monthly Production plan – GAP Analysis) in co-ordination with Farm team.
  • Conduct research on the land, soil fertility, weather, market demand in coordination with sales & marketing team.
  • Agro Trading reporting through DSR, Daily purchase requirement, goods receivables and GAP analysis.
  • Consult and coordinate with management for all farm activities.
  • Optimum utilization of the tools and machineries in the farm
  • Manage farms:
    • Listing of crops planning and scheduling
    • By-products (consumable products) produced from the harvested products
    • Identify and match the produce to the market demand.
    • Items sufficiency and alternate sourcing identification.
    • Understand the life of the product
    • Understand season, suitability, production and cultivation plan.
    • Minimize wastage and liquidation
    • Dry and perishable nature identification of produce.
    • Crop plan follow-up and implementation follow through
    • Yield calculation
    • Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly report of farm and present to management
  • Farming Knowledge transfer and training – Guide, train, support and supervise local farm team (supervisors and workers)
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
  • Master’s Degree completed in Agronomics/Agriculture
SKILLS/JOB SPECIFICATION:
  • 5 to 7 years’ of experience as a project or operations coordinator. Must have experience working in herbs and spices
  • Experience in Agriculture, training and research
  • Good communication skill
  • Self-motivated with problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced FMCG environment
