POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for responsible for coordinating, collecting, and consolidating data from multiple departments—such as warehouse, purchase, sales, and administration—and preparing comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). These reports provide critical insights into sales trends, stock levels, and product performance across all business verticals. He/She will actively be involved in planning and overseeing the sourcing of products, especially from local farmers, in alignment with the crop calendar and business needs. The role requires regular interaction with suppliers to negotiate pricing, ensure quality, and maintain adequate stock levels to meet seasonal and non-seasonal demand.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-ordinate to collect and consolidate data from various departments such as warehouse, purchase, sales, admin
- Prepare regular MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on KPIs like sales performance, most selling products, least selling products across all verticals, replenishment of stock on time, season time product requirement, non-season time product requirement, stock levels.
- Responsible for sourcing of products from local farmers aligning with crop calendar and business needs.
- Ensure smooth supply of regular products from local farmer within and outside KTM.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Negotiate best pricing and quality products from the farmers as per specified brand standards.
- Create and maintain database of farmers from surrounding regions.
- Research, explore and source demanded products from the farmers.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Coordination with supply chain department for logistics and transportation of goods to be supplied from farm to the warehouse.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Sourcing of products from local markets as and when required.
- Implement effective strategies goods and maintain desired stock levels of staples.
- Prepare and review sourcing details of staple orders and deliveries on daily basis.
- Implement methods to reduce shortages and overstocking of staples through data analysis.
- Prepare control strategies and planning in case of shortage and overstock of staples.
- Ensure regular supplier audits are implemented.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and future suppliers.
- Oversee communication with suppliers on quantity related issues and propose areas for improvement to ensure best quality products.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelors’s Degree completed in General Management
SKILLS/JOB SPECIFICATION:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of FMCG sales and supply chain dynamics
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical skill.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- Familiarity with distribution networks and operations.
