POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for responsible for ensuring optimal product presence, quality, and customer satisfaction within modern trade outlets. This position combines operational efficiency with sales execution, playing a key role in managing product flow, enhancing visibility, and maximizing sales through strategic display, distribution, and client engagement. He/She will oversee the receipt, preparation, and dispatch of goods to retail outlets, maintaining clean and well-stocked shelves using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method. They are also responsible for inspecting labeling, packaging, and product quality, and ensuring all stock complies with expiry regulations and company standards.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive products and manage inward deliveries in modern trade outlet Warehouse.
- Prepare deliveries for dispatch to the modern trade outlets by tagging price and checking the labels.
- Ensure clean products and shelves by dusting on daily basis.
- Arrangement of our products in the modern trade outlet shelves as per FIFO method and ensure its proper display.
- Attend customer queries, collect feedback on our products and present report to the reporting manager.
- Ensure the products on the display are not exceeding the expiry period and adhere the quality packaging and labelling.
- Ensure Route coverage of the assigned delegation and the coverage areas.
- Responsible for planning and setting up the target for distribution sales based on the product portfolio, customers segment, competitors’ presence, products coverage etc.
- Responsible for primary and secondary sales target achievement.
- Responsible of visibility and availability of company’s products at all outlets and ensure that products are perfectly placed in the stores.
- Responsible for product quality and damage control in all customer touch points.
- Responsible for outstanding management and ensure that only credit control mechanisms are strictly followed by each sales personnel and ensure financial discipline is maintained.
- Responsible to analyze the market and plan the distribution channel to be added in related area with proper sales target assignment and achievement.
- Build and promote solid, long-lasting client connections with distribution channels by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Foster good relation with vendors and ensure that their expenses are timely settled and vendors are supporting timely for the desired sales generation activities.
- To participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues.
- Prepare and submit sales reports to management in accurate and timely manner.
- Research regularly and provide realistic, thoughtful, and candid insights into relevant business matters.
- Engage in a variety of educational activities, read professional magazines, maintain personal networks, and join professional associations to keep your job information up to date.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelors’s Degree completed in General Management
SKILLS/JOB SPECIFICATION:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food FMCG Sales.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales-related tools/software.
- Analytical skills for market trend analysis and decision-making.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.
