Position Overview:
This position will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, forging strong client relationships, and executing strategic initiatives to expand the company’s market presence in solar energy solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage commercial and distributor leads.
- Leverage networks to expand product reach and foster repeat business.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and tender documents.
- Negotiate project and solar light sales with potential customers.
- Coordinate with management for technical, financial, and legal support.
- Collaborate with operations to fulfill orders and manage delivery queries.
- Report on sales activities, including prospecting, calls, and follow-ups.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities.
- Advise management on product materials, proposals, and issues.
- Attend exhibitions and events to drive product sales.
- Support marketing efforts with relevant materials.
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, complemented by an MBA.
Skills/Job Specification:
- Proven experience of at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar/renewables sector
- Knowledge of BBB-EE, ED, and SD funding.
- Strong network with distributors and corporates.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Team player with experience in online management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana).
- Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
