POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for driving the growth and visibility of the company’s eco-friendly and organic products. This role involves building strong customer relationships, expanding market reach, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end sales process. The Sales Officer is responsible for highlighting the unique value of the company’s sustainable product offerings to consumers and strategic partners, including retail outlets, restaurants, fitness centers, and online platforms.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drives business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationship with clients.
- Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking and customer referrals.
- Expands business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry and researching and analyzing sales options.
- Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.
- Conducting in-depth research on competitors’ products, pricing and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Prepare reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Research regularly and provide realistic, thoughtful, and candid insights into relevant business matters.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in General Management
SKILLS/JOB SPECIFICATION:
- • 3 to 5 years of experience in food FMCG Sales.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales-related tools/software.
- Analytical skills for market trend analysis and decision-making.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Familiarity with distribution networks and sales operations.
- Must have two-wheeler and driving license.
